Black Sedan Seen Departing her Home

Continued from Page 1

According to her mother, Marina had gone to a party with friends, taking a change of clothing, which was found in her car in the driveway.

Miss Habe is described as 5-feet 3-inches tall and weighs 113 pounds.

Police said Miss Habe left her home about 4:30 p.m. Sunday to meet her date for the evening, John Hornburg, 22, at his house at 13326 Sunset Blvd., Brentwood.

The Hornburgs are close friends of Marina’s family, according to officers. Hornburg’s father is C.H. Hornburg, owner of an exclusive foreign car agency.

About 8:30 p.m. Hornburg and Miss Habe met friends, 18-year-old Laurie Kramer, and her date, 22-year-old Norm Elder of Washington; and 18-year-old Wendy Kleiner and her date, 25-year-old Denis Boses, at the Troubadour night club at 9081 Santa Monica Blvd.

Following the show, Miss Habe and Hornburg returned to his home, where she had left her car. Hornburg reported Miss Habe left there about 3:15 a.m. for home — which is a 20 minute drive — arriving there around 3:35 a.m. She has not been seen since.

Miss Habe, who graduated last June from University High School in West Los Angeles, is currently attending the University of Hawaii. She was home for the Christmas holidays.
